This is a piece of California history. Ready to ship!

This is Charles Krug’s Winery prize Cabernet vines that made their incredible Family Reserve
Vintage Selection Cabernet Sauvignon. Please stop at the winery as its one of all our favorites and they are so nice and knowledgeable. Fun too! Their wine never last long around the shop…

Planted in the 1940’s and after decades of wine production, these vines were retired to my shop to take on new life as art after years of producing amazing wine.

The light and dark swirls of the vine are incredible and my cell pictures really don’t do it justice. It’s perfect for a wine cellar or on top of the mantel to remind you of your trip to California’s premier wine country. What better way to celebrate than having a vine that produced the wine you enjoy?

This piece was dried for 10 years then kiln dried, run through my process, then sealed with several coats of a clear UV sealer for a lifetime of enjoyment. A highlight to any room.

The metal field post next to it rusted over decades and the iron flakes were pulled up into the vine making these incredible swirls of red through the trunk. My cell pictures don’t do this any justice!

Arrives in a custom built crate, fully assembled. Just unpack and enjoy!

The base is a stave from one of their beautiful Cabernet barrels.

All my products are carefully handmade using 100% recycled materials. They are individually handcrafted, one of a kind creations, and not factory manufactured. It is therefore quite difficult to make identical items. I make every effort to create only the best from materials with natural variations that should not be misconstrued as flaws. These make each piece of a handmade product charming and unique. The vine pictured is the one you will receive. It’s awesome!
